Description

This 3rd edition will feature eight concerts bringing together over twenty musicians and singers, as well as three painters, visual artists and a photojournalist. André Manoukian remains the patron of the Parsi-Parla festival, and our patron this year is Iranian violinist and singer Aïda Nosrat.

Friday 13 from 7.30pm to 11.30pm and Saturday 14 from 5.30pm to 11.30pm
Concerts in the Parc du Pré Cottin with :
The Afghan Project (Afghan vocals and music); Anousha Nazari and Laurianne Corneille (vocals and piano); Bijan and Keyvan Chemirani (santour, saz and percussion); Sina Bathaie (Persian electro); Azadé et les garçons (jazz and saffron); Quatuor Rokh (traditional Persian vocals and music); Manushan (flamenco, gypsy jazz and Persian music); Shibaali (Persian electro-folk).

Saturday 14th :
> Espace enchanté: free visit of Samaneh Atef's painting exhibition in connection with the festival and meeting with the artist, surprise concert on site.
> Salle Symphorienne, Excenevex - 3pm to 5pm: screenings of Iranian short films.

All week (June 9-15): screenings of Iranian films at the Grütli cinema in Geneva, the Espace Enchanté in Douvaine and Cinetoile in Sciez.
